Introducing Michael Dent
Michael is accredited as a Mortgage Broker and certified as a Life, Disability and Health Insurance Adviser.
"I grew up in a farming community in the Mid North where I learnt not only the value of a good work ethic but also to have a pragmatic view on what was going on around me. After finishing a 12-month return of service to the electrical contracting company where I did my apprenticeship, I set off to see the world, starting with NZ. After a short period in Tauranga, I travelled to Rotorua, where I put down roots and have lived since. After a variety of employment, my wife Cathy and I started our own business. 24 years later, a career change was in order, and I changed the team at Hallam Jones. When not working, I enjoy the outdoors, chasing a little white ball all over a golf course and beyond, relaxing with a good book and spending time with our growing family as they spread their wings and take on the world."
